Last spring '25, for several reasons, morale in the company was sagging. Lynka employees shared they were yearning for more information. Many reported they had no idea what was going on in the company. The information gap was filled with rumors and at times, even fake news. We tried newsletters, but many employees didn’t read them. We have department meetings, but information spread is inconsistent.

The Turning Point: Introducing Quarterly Gatherings
My good friend and business coach, Jan Przepiora who spent 30 years running the largest Print house in Europe - RR Donnelley in Krakow - gave me the antidote: A Quarterly Gathering for the whole company. I was concerned about loss of valuable work time, but he assured me the trade-off was worth it. But the key was how the meeting was organized and structured.

We just completed our third Quarterly last week, and Jan was right. We ask employees to rate the meeting on a 1 to 5 scale, and solicit their feedback on a mobile app. Each meeting, the ratings improve - our last meeting scored a 4,2 / 5.
This Is Not Management Rocket Science

I still remember earlier Lynka with 50 people in a few rooms, when communication was never an issue. Now with 300 people, some spread across locations, it's simply harder to get the word out to the team.
What makes us special are our culture, our values and our special atmosphere. Keeping the team informed and aligned is critical for us to keep thriving.
Thanks Jan, and Bravo to the Quarterly Gathering!
